Running joins
The 12th Jena company run took place on May 24, 2023. 15 runners from ifw Jena took part.
More than 2,500 runners from various Jena companies started the 2023 Jena Company Run when the starting signal was given at 7:00 pm. The course led 5.5 kilometers along the river Saale through the south of Jena.
ifw Jena was represented by 15 female scientists, technicians and working students.
The training of all colleagues paid off: In the team ranking, the institute took seventh place.
Working student Franz Böswetter, who is currently writing his bachelor's thesis at ifw Jena, completed the course in 19 minutes and 12 seconds. With this time, he made it across the finish line as the third runner.
