Expansion of research work in additive manufacturing
We are delighted to receive investment funding under the FTI-Thuringia INVEST guideline, which will enable us to broaden our research in the field of additive manufacturing even further.
The project will create the technical conditions necessary to carry out binder jetting of metals at the institute. Once a binder jetting system has been purchased and commissioned, the process will be integrated into our existing research work and our activities in the field of binder jetting will be intensified. The investment funding will enable us to actively expand the range of materials available for the process and make it accessible to a wider range of applications.
The project, funded by the Free State of Thuringia, was co-financed by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
